GARR TOOL and Fullerton catalogs, the ACME demo catalog (GARR data relabeled in G-Wizard's demo build) and the sample cribs from G-Wizard's Tool Crib download list. Catalog data as shipped with G-Wizard 5.51; check current vendor data before relying on it.

Notebook.xml is in G-Wizard's preferences folder. Pages whose names already exist are skipped.

The characteristic names and symbols link to CNCCookbook's article about each one (the links G-Wizard 5.51 used). Symbols are drawn per ASME Y14.5; the Unicode character is shown for copying.

Deviations of the measured feature from its nominal (basic) position. True position (diametral) = 2√(X² + Y² + Z²), to compare with the Position tolerance in the feature control frame. Same calculator as Geometry > True Position.

      InchMetric (mm)DesignationUse

G-Wizard 5.51's drill chart: 336 number (#1-#107), letter (A-Z), fractional (1/64"-1 1/2") and metric (0.05-38 mm) drills. "Use" is G-Wizard's tap drill and wood screw pilot / shank hole cross-reference. Metric sizes are the drills' own sizes; where G-Wizard 5.51 showed a value rounded from the 4-decimal inch size it is shown small and grey (DEVIATIONS.txt 41). The "Sizes" button next to the tool diameter on the Feeds & speeds tab opens this chart as G-Wizard's Drill Index picker.

Times are shown in this browser’s time zone. Admins are the accounts listed in admin_emails in gwizpy.ini; that can’t be changed here. Your own account is managed from the Account menu.

      Database

Keep backup files private. A backup is the whole gwizpy.db: every account’s data and the password hashes.

The backup is a consistent snapshot taken while gwizpy keeps running. To restore one, replace gwizpy.db in the data folder by FTP while nobody is using gwizpy, and delete any gwizpy.db-wal and gwizpy.db-shm files next to it (there is no restore button on purpose). Purge removes sessions unused for 90 days and guests inactive for 30 days (it also runs by itself every 6 hours).
